What about bookcases and hutches and accessories and shelving and a coffee table or occasional table? If you get your desk first, and possibly an additional side table or computer desk, then think of what you'd like to store, or keep out of sight, or have instantly available -- then take a look around on the WWW and do a bit of shopping. Don't overcrowd your office or you will end up getting claustrophobic. Storage for manuals or books or computer programs or even knickknacks can be on the wall and off your desk If the desk remains clear and clutter free, theoretically at least, so will your mind! Shelving and a lamp table are also good things to have in your office. If you have room, a guest chair is nice. That way visitors won't have to perch on the edge of your desk and hover over you, like a California condor!
