Bar Stool -- Eating or Drinking or Homework -- It's All Good!
Bar stools are often found in a combo family room/den/office. They can be used for what their purpose was intended for -- at a bar. They can also be used, in conjunction with a counter, as a working area for children to do their homework, a quick spot to pop down and do some of your home office work, or as a craft chair. Because bar stools can be slid under a counter, and shorter ones without backs can go right underneath, they are great for extra seating or a place to pop down and do some office or household work quickly. You do have to determine what height you'd like your stools, and what level of comfort you want. They can vary from plain wood with no cushions to very fancy ones made from exotic wood or even cane (great for a Tiki bar but not necessarily an office). Materials may factor into these stools as well as cost, of course. Check out the variety available online and this can help you make a decision.
