Dining Room Furniture -- Make a Banquet Happen!
Your dining room may not be large enough to hold a banquet but you can make it very attractive and suitable to your needs. The basic necessities for a dining room are somewhat obvious -- a dining table and some chairs. How many people do you normally seat for dinner? If there's just the two of you than a small table that can expand will work great. You can put the extra chairs around the edges of the room and make it look like a Louis XIV waiting room. The extra leaf or leaves can go in a closet. For two, an oval or round table is welcoming. Six or more people should be seated around a rectangular table. Make sure that the tabletop is supported well by the legs, if you have a larger table. A side table, hutch and buffet table are a few other pieces of furniture that can be used for a dining room. Decorate your room simply because the food you serve should be the main attraction!
