Cane Furniture -- Renewable, Tropical and Attractive

Cane and bamboo furniture, because it's made from rapidly-growing reeds or bamboo, is very much in these days. It adds a lovely and light look to any room in the house, and can be used in the bedroom, dining room, enclosed patio, family room, and in many other rooms of your home. The finish can be left natural or stained several attractive colors. Cushions are important on cane furniture because they can take the look totally tropical, give it a nice informal look, or even take the pieces into a semi-formal range. With tropical, a lovely Hawaiian or Bahamian flower print is fantastic. For semi-formal looks you can use subtle stripes in chenille or even cotton duck for that beach-like cottage appearance. In a more formal setting and using the darker stained cane or wicker, cushions and upholstery in browns or darker colors look great. It depends on the color of your cane and bamboo furniture, the style, and the upholstery and cushions as to how you can achieve the look you want.
